No Skates? Limited equipment? No problem!
Come out and play this amazing sport with your friends and family.

Niagara's Local Ball Hockey League is a family run Business and has been part of our family for over 30 years. Expanding on our father's vision to offer fun, affordable and non competitive ball hockey within our local communities, this family run league offers a supportive and exciting place to learn this grassroot sport.

Whether you are new to the sport and interested in learning the fundamentals, or a seasoned street hockey player who doesn't bring the net  in until the street lights come on.

Why participate?

Have fun while developing your skills in a high energy, non-competitive environment. We encourage players to build friendships through teamwork and to use their strategic thinking to advance their knowledge of the game.  Regardless of your skill level, participating in ball hockey has many benefits including the opportunity to build friendships, stay active and be outdoors!

We are confident you will find our league to be a great place to learn new skills and meet new friends.

Registration is open for our co-ed divisions. Whether you are signing up as a team or signing as an individual/group of friends, we can find a spot for you.

    Niagara’s Local Ball Hockey requires all participants under the age of 18 to wear a helmet with a full face mask, gloves and shin pads. I authorize the use and publishing of any photographs taken during ball hockey events of See reverse for additional information ME/MY child, or in which I/THEY may be included for editorial trade, advertising and/or any purpose and in any manner and medium: and to alter the same without restriction. I hereby consent to subscribe to emails from [email protected] HOLD HARMLESS I, the applicant and WE/I the parent(s) of the applicant (if under 18) hereby give approval for my child’s participation in any and all league activities during the current season. I/WE assume all risks and hazards incidental to such participation, including special events, transportation to and from the activities and I/WE hereby waive, release, absolve indemnity and agree to hold harmless the supervisors, officials, sponsors, organizers, and owners of the premises. By choosing to participate in the league, you agree that you do so at your own risk, are voluntarily participating in these activities, assume all risk of injury to yourself/child(ren), and agree to release and discharge Niagara’s Local Ball Hockey from any and all claims, losses, damages or causes of action arising out of such use. By registering, you also agree to receive emails from Niagara’s Local Ball Hockey.

What equipment is required?

  • Although equipment needs are minimal, there are a few that are mandatory.

Helmet - ***Mandatory (with face cage)
Gloves - ***Mandatory
Stick - ***Mandatory
Closed toe shoes - ***Mandatory
Shin Pads - Optional (but highly recommended)
